How listing priority works
Founding Partner applications are reviewed in the order received. During the initial directory rollout, approved partners will generally be added within their applicable location and business category based on approval date. Joining early may result in earlier placement.
CatOS may update directory organization as the network grows to improve relevance, geographic accuracy, usability, and the experience of cat owners.

CatOS plans to allow users to share ratings and reviews about participating service providers. This can help local cat owners discover veterinary hospitals, groomers, shelters, boarding facilities, and pet businesses.

- Inappropriate, fraudulent, or privacy-invasive content may be reported and removed.

Program terminology
Local Partner vs. affiliate
Local Partner is the umbrella term for participating community businesses and organizations. Participation does not require selling CatOS or earning commissions. A separate affiliate or promotional opportunity may be introduced in the future for organizations that choose to participate.

Does it cost anything?
No. The CatOS Local Partners program is free to join.
Do we have to sell anything?
No. Local Partners are not required to sell CatOS subscriptions, products, or services.
Do we receive customer data?
No. Participation does not provide access to CatOS user data or waitlist information.
Does CatOS replace veterinary care?
Absolutely not. CatOS is designed to complement professional veterinary care and encourages users to contact a licensed veterinarian when appropriate.
How is our information added to the directory?
During the pre-launch period, CatOS reviews each application manually. After approval and any needed follow-up, approved public business information is manually added to the directory and published in a website update.
Are retailer discounts available now?
Not yet. CatOS plans to explore special retailer offers that participating partners may be able to share with clients and local cat owners. Availability will depend on future retailer and program relationships.
Are ratings and reviews available now?
Not yet. Ratings and reviews are a planned feature that will launch only after moderation, reporting, privacy, and verification safeguards are ready.
What do approved partners receive?
Approved partners can receive a directory listing, Founding Partner recognition when eligible, a digital badge, QR display materials, and future co-marketing opportunities.
